Need help juggling children, job, house?

A Mothers Help is not necessarily qualified in childcare. He/she may have done some childcare work or be a parent themselves.

Our staff strive to be an extension of the family, reinforcing the norms and expectations of the parents so that the child/children have a consistent and caring environment for their upbringing.

The Mothers Help duties are to assist the clients with their children and provide general help around the house. Duties would normally include the following:

• Getting children ready for school/nursery
• Transporting to school/nursery/after school activities
• Shopping
• Meal preparation
• Washing
• Ironing
• Cleaning

Your Mothers Help will remain an employee of Helping Hands Scotland Ltd thus relieiving you of the responsibility of PAYE and NI, references, essential background checks (using the services of Disclosure Scotland), insurance, etc.
